So, all jokes aside ... I want to be a FBI agent

I am currently obsessed with the TV show, Criminal Minds. Maybe it is the behaviorist {soon to be  behavior analyst} in me that is so intrigued by what they do. And when I say intrigued, I really mean intrigued!

Last month I actually looked up how to become an FBI agent because of my intrigue with the show. The only drawback {besides having to shoot a gun, potentially having to kill a human, an unpredictable work schedule that is not conducive to a structured family life and potentially losing your own life} is the professional work attire the FBI agents have to wear.

Pant suits. Button-up, collared shirts. Blazers. Just think frumpy and you've got a good picture of what it would look like. It's like seminary teaching all over again. ;)

When discussing this particular plight with a friend {okay, okay ... on social media} a friend provided a photograph of what he thought I would look like as an FBI agent in said professional clothing.

And suddenly, I was more okay with dressing in FBI attire than I was previously.

Buuuuut then I wondered why my friend thought becoming an FBI agent would make me a senior citizen.

Maybe it is my undercover look?

Oh, well. The point is this ... I am currently obsessed with Criminal Minds and have actually looked into become a FBI agent. I just need to work on my shooting skills. Anyone want to take me to practice? ;)

I was talking to my nephew the other night and he was telling me about his favorite TV show. I asked him what my favorite TV show was and he said, "Uhm, I think it is called Villain Thinkers." Ha! Brilliant little man.

P.S. I wanted to take part in Aubrey's Five Confessions Wednesday {entertainment edition}. This was the best I could do. I don't have many secrets with entertainment ... besides said obsession for Criminal Minds, Smallville is my guilty pleasure and I am bored to tears with any form of the Bachelor. Wow, three for five. I am counting it! Feel free to join in!

Thanks for linking up! I usually change my theme every month for my confessions or I do all random ones. :) That photo is hilarious...

My cousin is finally accomplishing his dream of being an FBI agent. He starts training in august. It is SO HARD to become one. He had to work there for 5+ years as a translator spy man before they would let him be an agent

if you decide to follow your dreams, i can show you some less frumpy outfit choices:) thanks for linking up. i pick a theme for my confessions because it's easier, but if you want to link up next month (and you should obviously), feel free to confess anything your little heart desires.

I do the same thing with Tv shows haha. When I was obsessed with law and order, I wanted to be a detective. Some shows make me want to be a psychiatrist. Scandal made me want to get into politics. I'm a mess

Just so you know I currently know FOUR FBI agents (all men) and they are all family men with a pretty regular schedule. They have to deal with violent crime on the Navajo Nation so, you know, that's probably not the greatest, but it's a job with the FBI! Woohoo! Go for it.
