Yesterday was Pioneer Day here in Utah.
All that means is: no work, the lake and fireworks.
It's a rough job, but someone has to celebrate.
P.S. Today I have Brooklyn visiting. She's super cute. That's all.
Hey you cute people! I'm Brooklyn from This Little Blonde and I have an awesome post for you today!

When I saw this pin on Pinterest the other day, I fell in love with the concept of being someone's umbrella. The world is full of so much rain. There is so much filth and negativity in this world. There is so much putting down of others to build self up. Why not be different? Why not be the umbrella the people you care about can trust to always protect them from the storm?
"None of us need one more person bashing or pointing out where we have failed or fallen short. Most of us are already well aware of the areas in which we are weak. What each of us does need is family, friends, employers, and brothers and sisters who support us, who have the patience to teach us, who believe in us, and who believe we’re trying to do the best we can, in spite of our weaknesses. What ever happened to giving each other the benefit of the doubt? What ever happened to hoping that another person would succeed or achieve? What ever happened to rooting for each other?" (Marvin J. Ashton)
Your observations and subsequent conclusions about others often reveal more about yourself than those whom you observe.
"We can begin to become more diligent and concerned at home by telling the people we love that we love them. Such expressions do not need to be flowery or lengthy. We simply should sincerely and frequently express love." (David A. Bednar)
There is a shortage of "I Believe In You's." This world is running low on encouragement. Be that person that others know will ALWAYS build them up. So put on that skimpy skirt, grab some pom poms and lets go cheer on the people we care about! There is so much rain, and too few umbrellas. Let's even the odds a little shall we?
