I don't always talk like Batman ...

I have never been a really big Batman fan.

Strike that. I have never really been into Super Heroes.

Because, like, they are fake.

BUT! Superman changed that.

Strike that. Tom Welling changed that.

But that is an entirely different story for an entirely different day.

But Tom Welling as Superman is where I drew the line.

Until I was forced to go to The Avengers. And I liked it.

And that same summer I was forced to go to The Dark Knight Rises {the first Batman anything I had ever seen} ... and loved it.

And only partially because Christian Bale is partially attractive. Funny how that works.

But that is beside the point.

The point is this: I started to like Batman. A lot. I still haven't seen the entire trilogy, but whatev. What I have done is learned to speak in a killer Batman voice.

And I have realized that speaking in the Batman voice makes trips to the pharmacy waaay more exciting.

Annnd, it makes escapades to Target that are entirely too long {yes, that is unbelievably possible} survivable.

Speaking of escapades to Target that are entirely too long ... That happened. Last week. So I started talking in my Batman voice. And life suddenly became way more awesome.

That awesomeness expounded substantially when ... I came across this Batman shirt, while already talking in my Batman voice.

I had to buy it. Naturally.

And now, I have no idea why I told you any of this.

Maybe because I threw on a cardigan and wore this baby to work. Because, hello, a cardigan makes everything professional, right?

And it was a hit.

And now, I am the Batman.

P.S. While I now think I like Batman {particularly The Dark Knight Rises}, I cannot reconcile that Anne Hathaway gets Christian Bale. Blah. Proof that life is not fair.

Yet, I still can talk in a keeler Batman voice. And I own that adorable t-shirt.

So, life is good.

Life is good.
