It's that time again ...

to talk about USU and BYU.

Goo.

Why does this happen so often?

Maybe it's because their player dropped  an extremely explicit word on national TV and I do not like my faith being represented as such.

Or maybe it is because of Facebook statuses such as, "I should never have to get that excited that we beat Utah State" from a BYU graduate.

Perhaps it's the irony of  BYU fans rushing the field after they mocked us for doing the same last year {and let me fill you in on a little secret ... I don't like rushing the court/field under any circumstances sans championships games, but that is just me}.

But enough about that.

Let's talk about Robert Turbin.

And how he is a beast.

 Love it.

Brings a whole new meaning to the term angry eyebrows, no?

And check out those arms. Really?

Let's talk about Riley Nelson.

And how BYU should have been starting him from day one this season. He.knows.how.to.play. And I can appreciate watching his skill, even if he plays for BYU, even if he left USU to play for BYU.

And that's all I am going to say about that. :)

I hear it was a tight game. I thought for sure USU would win (and yes, I do work for BYU)

Let's talk about how Riley Nelson's hair was tooooo long for the honor code!

I have become a Utah State fan (I'm still a Cougar first, but I have been actively cheering for Utah State too now, and following how they're doing). I watched the Auburn/USU game and was seriously, seriously disappointed with the outcome. The Aggies should have won that game. I was more affected by the USU loss that day than I was of BYU's narrow win over Ole Miss.
Then I watched the end of the Colorado State game, once again completely disappointed as a new fan.
And then it came time for them to play my team, and as I was watching it happen again (the come-from-behind), I only was okay with it because it was my cougars, but I really did feel bad for the Aggies. I have to tell you I have a lot of respect for the coach and players of your team.
