Mmm ... ham!

I.heart.texting.

Especially when I thought I sent the text, "So ... I have had a lot on my mind lately" and then get a response of, "Why the love obsession with ham?"

Confused, I look back at what I had sent. "So ... I have ham a lot on my mind lately."

Yup. You know me. I heart my ham. It's hard to think of just about anything else these days. Anyone else noticing the same problem with endless thoughts of deli meats? Lemme know!

Me. I dream about ham all night. I also dream about you bringing potato bugs to church.

Ha! I love text-message-typos! This is one of the best ones yet! I laughed pretty hard at this one. :)

I also love texting. I once sent an i love you babe to my father in law thinking it was my hubby. but your ham obsession tops it all :)

As I am now a texter (spell check doesn't like that word), I understand how this can happen. When I first sent texts I very carefully reread each one. Now I don't pay so much attention. Just yesterday I sent off a text, then realized that T9 had not interpreted my meaning correctly. Oops.

once I got my iphone I thought things with texting would get better, but it got worse! I have a full keyboard (mini, of course) on my phone, and I end up saying things like this...
"ujyoqh fof eth dide!"

What does THAT even mean? I have no clue. but it happens ALL the time.

P.S. for my word verification it says Dindi. sounds like... MINDY!

I don't love ham... I'm eating a subway turkey sandwich right now :) but I make funny typos all the time in texting... I type too fast and miss a letter, or the predictive text changes on me... oh well! usually my friends know what I mean.

Ha! Yes, and don't you often catch the typo out of the corner of your eye just as you press send and it's too late to stop the transmission?
