Being ...

Pre*pared [pri-paird]
properly expectant, organized,
or equipped; ready

One tank top.

One short-sleeve.

Three long-sleeves.

Two pairs of running tights.

A pair of jeans.

Three pairs of socks [one super fleecey and thick].

Two pairs of gloves.

Two hand warmers.

Two blankets.

One USU hoodie.

All for the USU vs. Boise State football game. The first nationally televised game from Romney Stadium since 1977.

And all of that I was still a little chilly ...

Did I mention the game was played at 7:30pm. On November 20th. In Logan, Utah.

With temperatures reaching 23*F.

But I survived. I wish the football team could say the same.

52-21. On Senior Night. Ouch.

At least you weren't doing the Track Parking this year, and then going to the game! We would have had to chip the ice off you!!!

You really have to love watching USU football to sit in that type of weather, even with all of those blue layers and of course the pink blankets! Too bad they chose to not survive on the score board. They could learn a few things from you! BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

At first I thought you were telling us what you were going to pack to go to Wisconsin. I lost interest when you started talking about football. Sorry. :-)

I was waiting in line that night for New Moon for 2 hours and I wish I had had half as many layers as you!

OH MY GOSH MINDY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ROTFL! That must have been so dang cold! I don't think I've ever worn that many layers in all my life! You are so funny, I totally would have just stayed home! You are such a great asset to Utah State University, what would their football program do without you?! And totally, thanks for the pictures because now I know exactly what to wear if I go to a cold game like that. :)

(How did I do?)

Wow, I do not think I can exceed some of the excitement expressed so far, but I will have you know that I am definitely interested in what you have to blog, whether it is how many layers of clothing you have, or whether your roommates John Deere dishes are cooler than yours :)

I must admit, I do want my points! :) I've gotta keep my lead with the gold stars! But your post does remind me of all the layers I will be wearing this Saturday at the BYU-Utah game! BRRRRRRRRRR!! Let's just hope my Utes play a little better than the Aggies did!

It was DANG cold that night... sadly we had to miss it so we could go watch my little sister in the high school musical. :) Hope there were at least a few good plays for you to watch!

I thought that you were going to say that you were out parking with the team. I hated those nights, sooo cold!!
(also if I had read this before your last post I still would have posted, I wanted to say that, even without the bribe.)

I'm doing this just because I love you! And just so you know you wouldn't have needed that much clothing in Wisconsin it hasn't even snowed here yet!:) So there is my comment!

the funny thing about this is that at the exact same time that you were bundled up like that at the game, I was at Disneyland, and the locals were bundled up just as much... except, down there, it was 50* and they were freezing!!

In my defense, I've been out of town since before you blogged this until now. So, I am extremely interested in all the layers you had to wear. I believe it shows just how great a fan you are when you show up for a USU football game in sub-freezing weather, knowing the chances are you will watch your team lose.

It got cold here, too. :-( I miss the mild weather already.

I'm just slow at getting to my google reader- that's all! You know I'm into this running stuff, c'mon. Also, do you use Google Reader? It's awesome.
