And I will start a business ...

Everyone's doing it.

From starting their own photography company to selling adorable aprons or accessories.

I have decided to join in on the fun.

Writing and illustrating books.

This is my first.

Let me know what you think. Ahem.

Only one thing in the story actually happened to Elder Roberts. 20 gold stars to anyone who can guess which one. (The rest were actually still true stories, but happened to other missionaries, not Elder Roberts).

Ummm....he taught the first discussion.

Also, I'm not sure that you should make this a business. However, I'm convinced that anything you put your mind to, will happen. So, if you wanted to be a story book illustrator/writer, you might want to get an editor...just saying.

I'm going to say he confirmed Pedro. If he actually went to Mexico City, that's probably very likely. :) I'm very impressed with your efforts with writing this book!!

I think it is a success. Easy to read, clear storyline, colorful pictures. Yes a success indeed.

I think you should definitely publish the story... you're a born natural for sure! As for the true story... I'm gonna guess the smoothie to try and get the guy to stop smoking. But I don't even know who Elder Roberts is, so I'm probably wrong.

Love the story, except you might want to take out the snake eating the rat part, it might scare the kiddos. Who is Elder Roberts?

that bus with the lice looks like a Le Bus. Never going to ride one again. Thanks Mindy.

I'll guess that he was attacked by a crazy drunk woman with a machete. It's a great story, anyway.

I'm thinking the snake in the toilet is true. Wouldn't surprise me at all!

The book was awesome! I think I may copy it and send it to Elder Allred! He will feel like his mission is a breeze....no lice, no snakes, etc. etc.! I look forward to seeing this in all Deseret Books everywhere!

Oh...you really need to add a teddy in there somewhere since that is my word! lol

I'm afraid fewer people would serve missions after hearing about Elder Roberts in Mexico. :)
