Days Six & Seven ...

It was Friday morning that I decided to come home a day early. I put up a Facebook status requesting for a ride to come get me at the airport and within minutes, I had already gotten multiple offers. I am sooo stinkin' grateful for everyone who was willing. I arranged a ride home and changed my flight.

After making those arrangements, we decided to find the crocs and flamingos on the resort. On the search we saw gorgeous parts of the resort we hadn't seen yet ...

And remember the sunburn I've been talking about ...

That tan line is pretty much going to be awesome.

Oh, and did I mention that I am the best aunt ever? Look what I got my nephews for their souvenirs:

After wandering around the resort we went back to Playa del Carmen for the day and apparently I forgot how to use my camera. That Nacho Libre mask photo is the last one I took.

Saturday came and we headed to the beach to go snorkeling, but the red flags were out so we couldn't go. I don't remember what else we did, but I had to head to the airport for my earlier flight home.

Flight was supposed to arrive at 8:21pm. It landed at 9:00pm. By the time I got out of customs, it was 9:20 and this guy:

had been waiting for me for an hour. He drove me back to Logan, helped me carry my luggage up to my third-story apartment, then got back into his car and drove all the way back to Salt Lake. He.is.amazing.

So, what this comes down to is this: Cancun, Mexico is wonderful. You should go there. Just don't talk to Chance about it. :) He'll try and talk you out of it. He said I can return, "Over [his] dead body!"

P.s. It is currently snowing as I type this. Of course it is.

What a stinkin' fun trip. I want to go somewhere tropical! Why did you cut the trip short? Was the sunburn that bad?

Wow, your Cancun posts took up the entire page. You have to click on "older posts" to see anything before Cancun. Looks way fun.

What a great trip...sunburn and all! (That's a souvenier!)
I'm glad your dad is doing well and you are back safe! I knew you would! Sorry about the snow....I left it in Utah yesterday! :)

I didn't read it all but feel rest assured yours is the only blog I check more than once a week so that should make you feel loved. From what I read and what I saw you had a grand trip and I'm happy for you! Although if you were going to take a relaxing trip to an exotic destination I don't know why you and friends didn't pick Milwaukee, WI? It's a huge tourist spot and plus I live there! Maybe next time. Then you could experience 30 degree temp. in April now wouldn't that be fun!

So...I read everything...when I should probably be asleep, or working on my paper due tomorrow. (It's almost done, don't worry.) So....I hope that I get my 70 gold stars for the seven days of awesome fun I read about!

Add me to the list of those who read all seven days. Since I don't think I'll be traveling anywhere tropical anytime soon, I have to enjoy your vacation. :-)
